Summary: With a name like M.A.C.H Modified Air Combat Heroes, I expected a game full of dogfights and rescue missions with comic book characters that at least come across as heroes. What M.A.C.H delivers, however, is a racing and fighting game with 3D graphics that come out of a comic book. Using aircraft, you can engage in either races or death matches in the air as you aim to one-up your opponents.
Summary: I woul recomend this game, because it is very different to any other game which just makes it special. Has good but few levels, there are alot of planes to unlock, upgrade and customize with money you have earned through career mode, but as soon as you spend all your money on upgrades on a previous you get a new plane and your money wasted!
Excerpt: "MACH (Modified Air Combat Heroes) is a flight simulation action game that I bought second hand for about £15 from Game Station some time ago. I spent many nights playing this game while I had spare time and really did enjoy it. There is no set storyline like you would get with a lot of games that have come out with the launch of the PSP but instead you get the idea that you basically in a competition with other pilots that like you have an air ...
Summary: This is pretty good for a few hours' brainless but solid twitch gaming. It's actually a fairly impressive package: nice fast graphics, good controls, well-designed tracks and so on. I very much liked the alternation between racing and then dogfighting, and the dogfighting in particular is very well done, with a pretty forgiving lock-on for your guns so it has a nice satisfying arcadey feel to it rather than being fiddly and irritating.
Excerpt: "MACH, another plane game , i expected a totlay different type of game when i brought MACH dont get me wrong its a good game but it lacks alot of realism of which i like. the game has wicked graphics and sound but the planes are a bit OTT. you can modify them but that costs alot of money which takes ages to earn on the game. you compee in different tournaments and different styles of competitions eg dogfights , and short sprint style races.during the ...
Conclusion: I purchased this and thought that i would be flying authentic aircraft in dog fights over authentic theaters of war with good graphics etc..... what do we get, futuristic unpiloted aircraft which has to chase other aircraft through tunnels, canyons and the like. Fly through animated suspended discs in the air to pick up weapons. Not what i was looking for at all.
Conclusion: This game is one of those that is jet engine's of fun. And like many great games, you start at the beginning and work your way up until the really really good planes come in to play. There are also some weapons to be picked up along the way as well. Cluster rockets, target scanner missiles, MINES and quick stealth modes. There are races and dogfights and it is all good fun blasting everyone out of the sky. The controls are not at all that hard to master.
