Good game.

J. S. Barrameda, Amazon

  • Summary: The levels are more challenging and the music is an upgrade over the original iteration. It can obviously become repetitive and it is worth it.

Highly Addictive

Lisa Shea "be the change you wish to see in t..., Amazon

  • Summary: I adored the original Lumines puzzle game for the PSP. How does Lumines 2 compare with the first one, and how much fun is it to play? First, the basics. In Lumines 2 blocks fall from the sky, just like in Tetris. In this case each block is always 2x2 dots. There are only ever 2 colors. So there are only a few combinations the colors can be in - all the same, in 2 rows, in an L, or kitty-corner. The challenge is to stack them so they form squares of color.

No complaints

Jonathan Lor "JLor", Amazon
27 October 2009
  • Summary: So I've read several reviews only to be irritated by their cons. Call me biased because I love this game, but this game was brilliant. I won't describe the game mechanics as that's what the tutorials are for, or you can read what other people wrote on their summaries. But forget summaries, here's my Brief (honestly, would you rather read an essay style review?) review: The visuals are like eye candy, can be confusing but that's where the challenge is.

One of the Best Rhytm Puzzle Games to Date

Tristan A. Hayes, Amazon
1 August 2009
  • Summary: efore I start, I just want to say that I joined the Lumines party quite late and only picked it up this year. Most people have had it since the games beginning, but as I always say its never too late to start a good thing Lumines II is the sequel to the highly acclaimed Lumines I. It features double the content, double the songs (including ones from the first game), more modes, multiplayer and more.

I'm addicted

L. Guillen, Amazon
26 December 2008
  • Summary: This game is amazing. Doesn't get boring even if it appears repetitive. Currently I am 80% done with the game and I've had it for a few months. Very high replay value. The music on the other hand is not the best, but it entertains.

Lumines Is The Future of Puzzle Games!!!!!

E. Nwizugbo, Amazon
25 January 2008
  • Summary: This game is the best puzzle game I have ever played. The fusion of light sound, and music totally bindes me to the screen! I damn near failed my Midterms this week for this game, playing under the covers till the wee Hours of the Night!!! Music is the most important figure in games to me and this game expidentially entices my sense of sound to the maximum level VIVA LUMINES II !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lumines 2

Moose, Amazon
27 October 2007
  • Summary: If you never played LUMINES 1 this game is sensational, if you already played the first version well, the second is better; more modes, more challenges, increase in difficulty, and more videos. I ve read some complaints about those new backgrounds that make it hard to play because of the contrast or because of the videos that catch too much your eyes. I believe that make the game more challenging.

Brain crack

Paul J. Ste Marie, Amazon
29 August 2007
  • Summary: I'm not much of a gamer, but this is even more addictive than its predecessor . If you've played Tetris or something similar before it's very easy to pick up, and the background music videos are pretty good (and rather distracting at times). There's definitely much more variety on the musical genres and videos than in the first game. Casual gamers will love this.
