Summary: When it came out, it had a different soundtrack... this one made me want to destroy the Psp... on the other hand, it was fun and had many levels, including make your own house, mini games, and many worlds to explore. Buy the game, then break your PSP speakers.

Summary: I actually got this AFTER I bought LocoRoco 2. I got stuck in the 2nd version but I missed the little bouncy blobs so I decided to get the older version. It was OK. There were some differences between both, nothing major, but it greatly affected the quality of gameplay. Understandably, this version has less features for the LocoRoco - like there is no "high jump" feature.
Summary: I'm a big fan of video games: I own the Game Boy, PSP, NES, SNES, PS2, XBox360, etc. I like all types of games, from Final Fantasy to Ico to Doom to Super Bust-A-Move. I was really looking forward to this game, having heard about the unique gameplay elements and innovation. I believe this is a game that's hard to judge, because the gameplay is so subjective. I would encourage anyone interested in this game to get their hands on it and play it before they buy it.
Loco Roco is innovative and fun, but it's charm wares off.

Summary: Loco Roco is one of the more interesting games for the PSP. You don't control the creatures, but you control their environment by tilting it left and right to make the little buggers flow. You can seperate and combine them. There are tons of secrets and mini-games and you can improve upon your score, but the game itself offers no challenge and loses its charm quickly. Good for a rental though. --------- Pros: Innovative fun gameplay. Tons of secrets and unlockables.
Summary: This game is alot of fun,but i beat it in like 2 hours. Its way to easy. It was an awsome game tho. I stink at games for the psp and this one was way to easy. I think they should put some challenges in it.
Loco Roco (Platinum) (PSP): Bouncing jangly vibrant fun... With owls included

Summary: "DUM DUM DUM BOING DOONA CHIGGER BA DUM DUM DUM" is how the song goes! It's daft but original, rather like the whole game. This is a platformer with a difference - all your Locos sing through the menus and the stages. Different Locos have different voices and made up languages and sing differently. This musical element, combined with the startling bright colours and simple controls (tilt left, tilt right, jump, combine, split) make Loco Roco a joy to watch and play.
Pros: Bright, musical, perfectly suited to the PSP
Summary: LocoRoco is an incredibly odd game, and while I don't love it, it is a unique and fairly fun ride. The game takes place on a planet, and in order to rid the planet of evil forces, you have to tilt the planet, rolling around. This might sound nonsensical, and while it is very simple, it makes for a strangely addictive, fiercely original game.
Summary: This game is great fun and I would recommend buying it especially now it's cheaper since it's release a few years back. The story of Loco Roco is about a species of animal called the Loco Roco who live on a far off planet. They have a blob like shape to them and are happy creatures. They are very peaceful living in their world until that is intruders arrive on the planet and start to destroy everything.
Pros: Graphics are great and is quite fun
Cons: Can get a bit repetitive and not that challenging
Summary: Bought this as saw it in a catalogue and had heard it was very fun. All in all that's true, locoroco certainly is a fun game for all the family, the controls are simple, using the L and R buttons to tilt the world and pressing simultaneously to cause your blob to jump. Simple story, being to defeat the "Moja" who have caused harm to your planet and to rescue your friend locorocos who have been scattered throughout the world.
