Summary: The Legend of Heroes is one of Nihon Falcom's flagship series alongside Ys and Dragon Slayer, which the Legend of Heroes series was part of before becoming its own franchise. The second series of games in The Legend of Heroes series is known as the Gagharv Trilogy, with North America seeing all three thanks to Bandai-Namco, although they got the order of the games wrong, first localizing the second game of the trilogy, A Tear of Vermillion while passing it off as the...
Summary: I found this game to be fun. In this game there are two characters, Chris and Jurio. You go through the story like in many other classic RPG games where you make contact with enemies. In this game the enemies will either ignore you, run away or attack you depending on their ability to defeat you. You use weapons and potions to defeat your enemy. What's interesting in this game which I find to be great is the pet dog, cat or rabbit.
Summary: Personally i really like this game. classic rpg style graphics. turn based battles. the game is a little to easy but the story is pretty good but kinda gets off track but then back on track. reeeeeeeeaaaaaaaally long storyline and lots of dialogue. all in all a WICKED SWEET game for the price!
Summary: After liking the first one I got the second one the same time since it was cheaper to buy it together and started to be done with it and still loving it. With new graphic changes making it even better than the first for me.
Summary: It's a great game, in a great trillogy. I was, however, unable to find it online, as my Amazon order was cancelled due to problems with the retailer... My suggestion is - Definitely buy the game; it's great, especially if you're a fan of either of the other two games in the trillogy - but buy it at a local game retailer like Gamestop, EB Games, Game Crazy, or maybe Circuit City (not Best Buy - they overprice everything, and probably don't stock this game anyways(it's too...
Summary: the storyline is nice/sad. Pretty straightforward game. cute characters. Two village kids setting out on a coming-of-age journey to make them 'adults' in the eyes of their village. But these 2 kids *were they 14 and 15* just happen to 'manage' to save the entire world. It's got its funny/bizarre parts. buy it used or something for a cheaper price tho, i wowuldn't spend too much on it b/c its not that amazing of a game....
Summary: I thought this game was really cool. The storyline is relaxing, and a little sleepy at first, but eventually becomes pumped up and awesome. What starts off as an inocent journey to come of age, ends up becoming a quest to save the world. This game is definitly worth the time and money!
Summary: Let me preface my review by saying that I know what a good RPG should be. I grew up on classics like Shining Force, Phantasy Star, and the original Final Fantasy's, as well as newer classics like Morrowind and World of Warcraft. Legend of Heroes II is not a good RPG. The story follows two kids from a small village as they visit five shrines scattered across their world on a right-of-passage pilgrimage.
