Summary: The only reason this game gets a 4-star instead of 5-star is because of my extremely high standard. Having played timeless classic SRPG such as Fire of Emblem, Shining Force, Tactic Orge, Langrisser, and etc. Comparing to those games, this game certainly has no business standing among them. However, being a second-tier SRPG, this game certainly has its own features and characteristics that makes it worthwhile to play.
Summary: I played this game when i first got my psp back in 2007 and loved it. I was looking for a final fantasy tactics style game and Jeanne D'arc is one of the best available. It is more simple and easier to learn and master than FFT or Tactics Ogre but no less fun. It is a great game at a great price and i recommend it to anyone who enjoys TRPGS.
Summary: If you like Tactics based games and have a PSP, this game is definitely worth getting. The story is an alternate reality version of the 100 Years War and the story of Joan of Arc. The learning curve isn't very high especially if you have played games like Fire Emblem or Final Fantasy Tactics. I spent about 35 hours playing the game and was very satisfied. The only negative thing that I can think of is that there are no subtitles for the cutscenes.
Summary: I feel that it would be unfair to compare this game to Final Fantasy Tactics, mainly because FFT is the better SRPG. This is mainly due to the deep customization of the various jobs in FFT. While you do have some customization in Jeanne d'Arc, it is pretty up front and does not allow for the intense tweaking you get in FFT, nor the necessity of hundreds of level grinding optional battles in FFT. This game reminds me a LOT of Vandal Hearts. Which is a good thing!
Not quite Final Fantasy Tactics, but still a great game!

Summary: Well, I've been through the first 5 battles or so. I have to say that I like it so far; it's doing a pretty good job at keeping my interest (which is saying a lot lately for some reason). It feels like a healthy mix between Final Fantasy Tactics and Dark Cloud 2. I didn't realize Level-5 made it until I powered it up, so I was pleasantly surprised. Definitely borrows from the slightly cartoony graphical style of Dark Cloud 2 without copying it too much.
Summary: Perhaps the best SRPG for the PSP, Jeanne D'arc (Joan of Arc in French - thank you commenters!) is a RPG play off of the history of Joan of Arc, and is the story of a French peasant whose village is burned by the English and decides to wage her own war against the English. Her friends join the fight, and she finds others along the way that fight with her to liberate France.
Summary: I went out on a limb when I bought this game, I'm very picky about the games I play. So when I bought this one I was hoping it would be fun, I did all the research on the internet, I watched video's on it also, so I finally bought it. WOW let me say that this is the best game I've ever bought for my PSP It's really fun and very addicting once you get in to it. It's a Tactical or Strategy RPG which ever one you would want to call it.
A nice looking JSRPG that is only held back by slow pacing.

Summary: Lets face it, even some of the greatest JSRPGs of all time can be a bit slow. (FFT,Disgaea) Jeanne D'arc also suffers from this issue, the problem is magnified however by the CPU AI taking a very long time to complete even the most basic of turns like a "wait, wait, move 2 squares, wait, attack" etc... The game has very sharp and cute graphics one would expect from this noted developer. Unfortunately we are stuck with only 2 perspectives, far away, and very far away.
