Summary: (This review is not stolen. I wrote it for GameFAQs and posted it here later.) 9/10 GRAPHICS: I really like the graphics. They're pixelly and 8-bit, and while the characters are SO blocky you can barely tell what they look like, this is on purpose.
Summary: This is one of the most quirky yet interesting games I have ever played. You essentially have 30 seconds to save the world in each mission(granted there are ways around this such as resetting the clock) but each time is part RPG, part puzzle.
Summary: In honor of one of the most unique RPGs the PSP (or any console) has seen in quite some time, I'd like to write a review in half a minute. Actually, scratch that. A thirty second review would be too brief to be of use to anyone, so instead, I'll divide my Half-Minute Hero review into thirty...
Excerpt: It says a lot for Half-Minute Hero that its warts ‘n’ all homage to the 8-bit era amounts to only a fraction of the games enormous appeal. Beneath its retro veneer is a remarkably creative, effective and enjoyable title that spans several genres and plays quite unlike anything you’ll have ever come...
Summary: Half Minute Hero on the PSP is an RPG in the style of the old 8 bit adventures, such as Final Fantasy and Zelda. The aim of the game is to level up and beat the bosses spread across the various areas. The twist, as you might have guessed, is that you have 30 seconds to do this.
