Summary: The "original" story they tagged on to it was rather meh. But what I did like about this game was seeing the first Hakuoki storyline through the eyes of the boys. It get you a different perspective. I do like the character art design for this game and want to eventually get the figures.
Summary: I am a big Hakuoki fan, but this game was a bit disappointing. As always, the graphics and colorfulness is beautifully done; but the concept is bleh. Doing the same ol' hack-n-slash over and over again. I would highly recommend to the fan girls to play their otome novelty game of theirs, Demon of the Fleeting Blossom. I literally stayed up till 4AM playing it! xD MORE OTOME GAMES TO AMERICA PLEASE!
Summary: I liked Demon of the Fleeting Blossom and support Aksys. But this game is a total let down. Each level starts with some nonsense dialogue. Then the level starts and the enemy ronin come at you in an endlessly spawning wave. Your mission is to kill X number of them and when you kill that many an enemy captain appears and you kill him. But while your facing the captain the endlessly spawning ronin are still coming at you.
Summary: This game would be prefect for huge fans that want to be the male characters in the Shinsengumi but the game gets boring... After the button pushing of the same moves and a story line that isn't very different from the other characters, I got extremely bored after a week of playing. The game play is similar to games like Warriors Orochi, Samurai Warriors, and Dynasty Warriors. The characters don't learn any new moves and I don't think they ever do......
