Strange but interesting fantasy "dating" sim
18 August 2014
Summary: Chizuru can be kind of annoying and tends to fall in the "stubborn but ultimately helpless" female trope, but overall the game is still enjoyable in spite of her character flaws. I recognize that this is a text-only game, which is fine with me.
Summary: I loved the game, probably because I love visual novels. The story was entertaining I loved the music and voice acting too. It's not so much romance centered though. Heres hoping the vita gets more like this game.
Loved it so much it prompted a historical investigation

Summary: I thoroughly enjoyed this game. Though I can see where it wouldn't be for some people. It's long and a lot of readin but it honestly made me love the characters. Plus the fact that it's (slightly) based on actual events made me interested in knowing who these characters really were and the history...
Summary: Visual novels are a niche market, yes, but the success of Hakouki has proven to be a successful game here on Amazon. I love visual novels but there isn't much content out there for the American market. This game is a step in the right direction.
Summary: Basically if you like otome games, this is one of the only English released ones out there. It's a visual novel for PSP, which means there's no RPG screen, it's just like reading a "Choose Your Own Adventure" novel. The choices you make will effect the story, ending, and which CGs you unlock.
