Great game, lazy localization
1 November 2014
Summary: Not the best game in the series(I consider that II: The Sense of Justice), and Atlus USA gave this a piss-poor lazy localization, but the core game itself is phenomenal. Deep strategic gameplay, gripping plot, TONS of characters, and almost too many endings(which amount to very short variations).
Summary: While Atlus has for some been a godsend among role-playing game enthusiasts, given their localization of niche titles, one franchise they have largely given the shaft is the Career Soft-developed Growlanser series, with its very first installment seeing no localization, and Working Designs translating the second and third games after struggling to obtain a license to do so.
Summary: I sure am glad I did not miss this one for psp this game is just outstanding in everyway I really love this. I do expect great things when I see atlas on a cover of a game and this just makes me love the company even more.
Summary: This is a much deserved return to the traditional gameplay mechanics of the first two growlanser games in the series. It's definitely a great addition that adds to the overall success of the franchise, especially after playing the lackluster Heritage of War. Quite ironic that the stateside release had this game localized and shipped years after Heritage of War.
