Great game for adults or older teenagers

Eric, Amazon
15 November 2013
  • Summary: I don't play many video games but I invested in a PSP and bought this game. Just reading a couple reviews and shooting from the hip I took a chance. The game was great and I love the graphics. It reminds me of when I use to play the PS1 waay back in the day but a lot smoother.

Fun, but really small

S. Carlson, Amazon

  • Summary: I said it before (see my review of Vice City stories) but this game, while certainly a lot of fun, just can't live up to it's big screen brethren.

GTA Rocks!

Trung Doan, Amazon
9 May 2008
  • Summary: Great game, similar to all the other GTA franchise. Great story, same game play mechanics as the other GTA's, Cool missions. Multiplayer wasn't as great as it should be. The characters were both too powerful.

Here's what I think....

Kong-chuan Tang, Amazon

  • Summary: This game is the whole reason why I bought the PSP slim. I played the PC version and could not stand looking at the screen longer than 15 minutes until I felt sick....motion sickness I guess. Playing it on the PSP eliminated that problem.

Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories

swapgame
9 August 2006
  • Conclusion: Although it doesn't quite live up to the PS2 GTA games, which is too much to expect from a hand held game, this is still a really impressive and very enjoyable game. The controls suffer slightly due to the PSP having only one analog stick, but this is easy to get used to.

Back out on the streets

jer361, Amazon
23 February 2006
  • Summary: Liberty city is a throw back to GTA3 same city, same roads. This time around though its new characters and new missions the game puts the PSP to good use and is a lot of fun to play.

Amazing but practically impossible to play

Etc "et cetera", Amazon

  • Summary: This game is great... I can tell that much. I couldn't believe how amazing the graphics are on that tiny little screen. The story and missions are full of the same life that the console versions had...

as fun as you would expect, but frustrating compared to the others!

P S, Amazon
21 November 2005
  • Summary: yes, read other reviews for details on how good a conversion it is, and what a great format, etc etc etc. it is. BUT, it's too frustrating! there are no difficulty levels like the console game. i want to chill and have fun on the go, not have my morning train commute be taxing and annoying.

Nearly Flawless

Neverwinter Knight, Amazon
2 November 2005
  • Summary: This game defines what the PSP is capable of. There is a game in every consoles lifetime that pushes its boundaries, and makes the impossible an obvious reality. This is it for the PSP. You boot the game, and the first thing that goes through your mind is, "Holy flying foxes, Batman.

Take GTA in your pocket

J. Enzinna "JonnyFunFun", Amazon
1 November 2005
  • Summary: For any Grand Theft Auto fan - this game is a must-have. You can finally play Grand Theft Auto on the go, at work :), or (my favorite) at school. Upon first turing on the game, I noticed that it is the same city as GTA3. The game is essentially GTA3, just with new cars, new people, and new missions.
