Hack n'Slash em God of War style

Summary: It's God of War. If you don't know this franchise yet, this game would be an acceptable introduction to it, but true God of War experiences are the gargantuan scenes best seen on big tv screens. Uh!
Summary: I have never played any game in the God of War series before Chains of Olympus and let me tell you, I am hooked! Before I get to how great this game is I will briefly state its one flaw. As many other reviewers have stated, the game is far too short. I beat the game in under 3 days probably in about 8 hours of game play. The reason this is a flaw is because the game is so good that you don't want to ever stop playing!! The controls are responsive and easy to understand.
Summary: There are a lot of boring, ugly looking PSP games but this is one of the few games that are worth buying. Very good graphics and awesome gameplay, being able to get upgrades and unlock different characters when you beat the game are a must for video games. The game is fun and is sort of like a movie, you go threw certain stages and then a little clip starts playing.
Summary: This game was quite the adventure. I enjoyed slashing through enemies as Kratos the Ghost of Sparta. Once played through the entire game, however; it lacks replay value. That is the only thing tainting this from being a five star rated game. If there was more content aside from the main quests, this game would be sure to please time and time again. However you may find some of the unlockable mini games to be interesting; but it's sure to leave you wanting more.
Summary: God of War: Chain of Olympus is a very good game in every aspect, such as every other God of War titles. The game plays very smoothly, lot of action, puzzle, and all the good stuff. Puzzles aren't as great as they were on the console, and there aren't enough upgrades, but that's to be expected from a psp title. My biggest concern is the length. As many may know the average completion time for the console title were around 10 hours, well..
Summary: I really enjoyed this game. I gave the game a 4 star overall because it felt very straight forward like GOW2. The first game by Jaffe was simply amazing. The level design on the first game has not been matched on the subsequent games. For instance, in GOW1 the game tempo from running about in the desert to conquering a city on top of a titan's back, then inside this city is a city sized puzzle, so on and so on is simply an art.
Summary: I am a PSP fan/apologist, but I dwell primarily in the genre of RPGs. When I heard that God of War was coming to the system, I was interested as Ready At Dawn created thoughtful, quality products in the first two games and I wanted to see what they would do on the small screen. Having watched the first two GoWs played by my more-dexterous and action game-favoring little brother, my biggest concern was that I would not be able to master the controls.
Summary: First the pros. Graphics are great, story line is good, new abilities are good, easy to get lost in the game and lose track of time. Cons. Way too short. When i finished the game i was basically pissed. Very easy to figure out, even in God mode, you only have more enemies to defeat and is a little harder to take them down. Camera angles can get a bit agravating. But my biggest complaint is how short it was, i spent maybe 5 hours total playing the game and it was over.
Conclusion: Excellent adaptation of the series for the PSP. Controls aren't limited in any way, and the graphics are definitely amongst the best to be found on the system. Probably not as complex as God of War 2, although the new extra weapons and magic abilities are interesting. Only downside is the short length of the game, around 8-10hrs, definitely worth renting though.
