The game God of War: Chains of Olympus is a prequel video games, where the story begins 10 years before the first video game in the God of War series – the God of War game. God of War: Chains of Olympus is a recent release, since it was introduced to the market on March 8, 2008.

Those familiar with the other God of War video games will be gratified to know this one also uses the same controls as the previous games with some exceptions. The buttons to push to get to dodge can be done by manipulating the analog nub and the two shoulder buttons. The weapons are still reminiscent of the Greek mythology that the series is loosely based on. The God of War: Chains of Olympus PSP version is categorized as a single-player game that was originally meant for use on the 222-Mhz PSP processor but can be used now on the 333 Mhz processor.
