I bought this compilation for one reason:

scifihorrorgamer, Amazon

  • Summary: Phantasy Star II, III, and IV are all included in this compilation, which I bought for only $14. These 3 games in their cartridge formats together can run about $80 or more. So needless to say I was very pleased that I saved $66 and still have a physical copy of the games on this psp umd, in case my psp ever broke down. (I'm not the biggest fan of downloadable games.) Aside from Phantasy Star the collection was a little bit disappointing to me.

  • Summary: So many oldie but goodies. I feel like playing something else it's the best lazy ever - no changing discs :] Even though there is one or two I might not care for the majority are great and you can't beat how many for the how much. And some are with sequels!

BLAST FROM PAST

Mark A. Divich, Amazon

  • Summary: I grew up playing these ames on my genesis. Not all of these games are real must plays but for the most part most the games are all classic sega. This collection is much better if you grew up on these games. New players to these games might be turned off by the difficulty of almost every game. I had forgot how hard these games can be! This collection is highly recommended. It almost never gets old because you have thirty other games to choose from.

  • Summary: Really great value, I was expecting a couple of games maybe 5 or so but you get 28!!!! Great bundle of classics all in one game. I was however disappointed as I am a fan of the genesis that certain titles like the disney games (Aladdin, Lion King were not included) ,Sonic 3, Mortal Kombat series, earth worm gym, any of the ea sports games , but overall Im happy with what they have included, also a bunch of games ive never seen are included with bonus features with the...

Some of the best Genesis classics on the go

Richard Baker "BinaryMessiah", Amazon
20 February 2007
  • Summary: The Good: AAA Genesis titles, perfect emulation, save anywhere feature makes playing more fun and easier, wireless is great, addition of info and hints is interesting and helpful The Bad: Games don't have any upgrades, A few duds The Genesis was the first system I ever owned or played so these titles and compilation was right up my alley. With the best Genesis ever made in one game is great. Games from Sonic the Hedgehog 2 to Ristar to Vectorman.
