Summary: At first this game is fun to play, an average game that is good for about a week but after that it gets so boring doing the same thing over and over again watchin nothing happen when a game is being played. Average game but doesnt last the distance. Only buy it if you have patience.
Good Game Easy navigation, however short in what u manage
2 July 2007
Conclusion: really good game with easy navigation really simple i found, similar to the PC version however you miss out on some features. for example you cant train players in different positions like u can on the PC version
Conclusion: i've never played FM on PSP before and i have to say i was(indeed) disappointed just for the fact that you CAN NOT select the "pitch" screen like on the pc version overall its just another manager game
Summary: I have got an xbox but started getting bored of lma manager and decided to get a manager game for psp. At first this game was very good and was doing very well, beating arsenal and man.united. i then came to playing wigan and lost 3-0 and then sunderland. i didnt think this was very realistic. i tried changing my formation because it wasnt working for me but found theres only 2 formations to choose from!!! I bought tevez for £5m.
Summary: I really wanted to like this game but for me there are 2 glaring ommisions. One is the ability to compare player stats in order to make buying/formation decisions. The second is the lack of a 2d match view - text only just doesn't cut it for me. Championship Manager for the PSP managed both of these although the interface is not as polished as football manager. Overall I prefer Champ Manager on the PSP but Football Manager wins every time on the PC/Xbox 360.
Summary: Perhaps the title of this game should be Football Manager Abridged given that so many fun aspects of the game have been cutout to squeeze the game onto the PSP. The good news is that the game is very fast and looks good on the PSP. Selecting formations, changing teams, searching etc has all been well thought out. Many aspects of the training regime still exist.
