Summary: I got the last Football Manager on the PSP and it was good (even though you could only select one nation then, why thats a big deal I don't know?) but this one is rubbish and I'll tell you why, In the last game if you took over a lower league club like I did with Forest you've got to wheel n deal and try to get players in from wherever you can I was loaning players from as far away as Jamaica and even though you couldn't buy all the players from the Jamaican League you...
Summary: Only being able to select 1 nation at a time is poor. The transfer system is rubbish, team interaction is rubbish, fans interaction is.........well rubbish. I have played this game for a week and found it very boring. I restarted the same league 3 times. Each time, the first, second and third week of results were identical, which made me wonder if no matter how you play your team, you don;t stand a chance as the results are already set.
Summary: You must not buy this game!!! on football manager handheld, you may only select 1 nation to play. Therefore all other nations teams have say 5 players in their squad (usually their best/oldest) so within 3 years they have retired. and you are left to buy from your own league/country, but the best players in your league "would not like to move to a team in te same league" therefore its just awful for buying players!
Summary: You know what? I'm the biggest fan of football manager on the PC, I can easily spend hours and hours at a time on it..But this just doesn't cut it. There have been a few other reviewers going into detail about problems, so I won't say too much..But: 1)There are WAY too few stats for each player (about half as many as on the PC), so you have the ridiculous situation of all players looking pretty much identical to one another.
Summary: I've been waiting for this game since I first got my PSP back in October 2005. I watched Championship Manager come and decided to ignore it, following the crowd with the 'FM is the original game by the original team, CM is just a copy' routine. CM2006 came out a week before this, complete with updated stats, and presumably bug fixes, I still waited patiently for 7 more days. Finally I had my copy, loaded it up and all seemed fine.
Summary: As the first PSP game i bought i was very disappointed by what this had to offer. The menus are annoying and the game only lets u tweak with your team to a minimal amount. Being a manager game i consider this to be an important factor, very basic, pretty much a quicker fantasy football league. Stay away.
