Excerpt: "...CM series, when I saw Football Manager 2007 for the PSP in the shops. The screenshots looked good, and I also took into consideration the positive things I had heard about the FM series. I therefore purchased Football Manager 2007 and could not wait to see if I could replicate my former success. Furthermore, I was keen to see ho much more convenient it was having a management game on a portable device. Regarding it's background, The Football Manager ...
Pros: Holistic, realistic, challenging and engrossing Football Management game
Excerpt: "Football Manager Handheld 2007 after reading all the good reviews about this psp game i decided it might be worth a try, but i cannot get it to work. I feel totally let down as this has never happened to me. i can get no further than the start menu. I cannot return it to the shop as i cannot find my receipt but i keep trying and my psp does not seem to like it. is there some sort of magic to make it work? Please can we have more reviews on this product ...
Summary: I am a big fan of FM but to me there are some important bugs in this game and it hardly improves on the original handheld. Major problems are lack of a bank balance (which surely can't take up much memory) and the fact that no matter how well you do, it seems impossible to get a new job. That is after managing Cheltenham to the Premier League and Berwick to the Scottish Premier League. It is also a little too easy.
Summary: FM on the PSP is a return to the glory days of CM2 - sod micro-management, this is about buying and selling donkeys and heroes and concentrating on making your Burton Albion dreams come true. Don't fret about the controls either - the set-up is intuitive and easy. Above all it's ace wasting the glorious PSP screen on our favorite spreadsheet.
Excerpt: "football manager 2007 - what a fantastic game this game is one of the most realistic managing games i have ever seen or played, especially on the PSP. the game creators have once again proved themselves to be the best football management game available. 2005 and 2006 were vasts improvments on the previous years but football manager 2007 takes being a reality football manager to a whole new level. they have even gone to extents like finding ...
Pros: more leagues, more players, better background staff and more
Excerpt: "...it because I loved the football manager series for computer. I did not think it would be anywhere near as good as the computer version for 2007, but I thought it would do as I love these types of games. Football Manager, as you would expect is a football management game. You manage your players training schedules, tactics, match day team talks etc. This game has lots of freedom in choosing what you want to do. First you start off by choosing ...
Excerpt: "...role over the pitch. Basically any football team setup around the world can be copied into the game, so if Man U is your team then you can be Alex Ferguson. Short recap then- GOOD:- Game looks good, plays well, and is a long lasting game not just a day to complete one. BAD:- Can become dull and repetitive once all trophys and cups are won and as you become more wise and tactical in your gameplay. Thankyou for reading, Please, if you ...
Pros: Streamlined gameplay, Easy layout, Easy controls and menu's,
Cons: Can become repetitive once some skills are mastered .
Summary: I found it hard to really get into and enjoy this game for many reasons. For example, there are a lot of unrealistic things about this game. Firstly, the matches and scorelines are sometimes stupid. Next, even small clubs have large sums of money poured into them by investors. Also, there are not enough real players from teams in other countries and after a couple of seasons, world-class youth players appear which means that you can easily build a league winning team for...
Summary: Well to put it mildy i do enjoy this game but without going into detail i will highlight the main problem. I manage rangers in the scottish league and every time you play your main rivals celtic get tooken over by sum rich buisnessman who can punt millions into the club. Its almost impossible to keep up with my budget. Not to mention the fact that in away games the sam thing happens over and over again.
Excerpt: "This is the new 2006-2007 season's computer game. it is a very addictive and realistic game. The players in this years version of the game are more realistic in their talents unlike the last version all young players became full in every area of the game. the game is not ovally difficult but you do need to have some footballing knowledge to enjoy and be sucessful in the game. This game is better to play on the computer because it contains more leagues ...
Pros: Addictive and a great time filler for a bored person !
Cons: The PC version is more dominant in gameplay options .
