Best RPG ever, but starting to show its age!

  • Summary: I first played this game on the Super NES when I was in high school. I stayed up for almost two straight days and beat the game. Still one of my favs even after all these years, and now this collection has two games in one, what a bargain.

Classic redone

  • Summary: Very good remake of the original FF 4. It is just like the ps version with updated graphics, and also comes with an extra "After Years" campaign that was originally only released in Japan.

  • Summary: Well, I'm looking forward to the day when I can play this game. I need to get a PSP and will do so in time. When I ordered it, I wasn't paying attention and thought it would play on my PS One. Oh well, I'm sure it will give me much pleasure when I can finally play it.

It may be "Complete" but it's not the "Definitive" edition.

  • Summary: This game drives me crazy because of all of its different releases, and I've played almost all of them. I had the "original" on the SNES, and was amazed. It was definitely great for its time and set a positive trend (mostly) for Final Fantasy up until 7.

A Worthwhile Collection

  • Summary: Square-Enix's Final Fantasy IV is bound to set a Guinness World Record for "Most Ports and/or Remakes." There's the original Super Famicom version released in Japan in 1991. There's the Easytype version also released for the Super Famicom in Japan.

Classic RPG

Brian, Amazon
30 June 2011
  • Summary: Great classic turn-based RPG. Good story today, and for its time amazing. Graphics are a little on the low side, but that's to be expected with a game that is basically a direct port from its original. But still, worth it for any RPG fan who has yet to play it one system or another.

The game was in good condition and arrived in a timely manner

Ryan B, Amazon

  • Summary: The game was in good condition and arrived in a timely manner. FFIV was just as good this time around as it was every other time I've played it. After Years was decent for a sequel. The story was a little vauge for me, but overall enjoyable.
