Fun, but occasionaly stupid

B. Miller "Rockin' for the Rock!", Amazon
2 April 2011
  • Summary: OK, I really am enjoying this game. Here's why: 1-For the most part, it is very realistic. The boxers look very real when moving, punching, etc. 2-The career mode is great, except that you MUST start out as an amateur fighter instead of going straight to pro. Being able to move up in weight and then go back down is one of the features I like the most. 3-Being able to choose from great fighters and challenge great fighters is really fun!

This Game is a Knockout!

William L. White Jr. "hokutobill", Amazon
24 February 2009
  • Summary: Although I don't play this one so much anymore, but back in the day couldn't put it down. Starting my own Career as a Heavyweight and seeing how far I could go was great. This game has a good all around playing style and the only improvements to be made are being able to keep more than one career fighter up and running. If you are looking for action with blood and great slow motion Knockouts then this game is for you! I guarantee a great time.

Great Boxing Game, Sore Thumbs

Amazon Customer, Amazon
7 May 2008
  • Summary: This is a great boxing game, is very realistic, great graphics and a lot of options to upgrade your boxer(s). Definitevely a must have. I don't gave the 5 stars, because it is so addictive that you would finish your Fight Night's sessions with very sore thumbs because of the buttons configuration. However, get it!

Great Game, Dont like Analog Botton!!!

Armand Herpe, Amazon
27 May 2006
  • Summary: Great Gameplay and graphics. The only Problem(at least for me) is that you must use the Analog Button to move your fighter Around, instead of giving you the option of using the traditional Directional Buttons like on the xbox. and that leaves my left thumb sore after hours of gameplay.

Kind of like a really well-done Fight Night Round 2.5, this is a fantastic portable boxer.

Miketheratguy, Amazon
27 May 2006
  • Summary: THE SHORT: The title IS misleading- as far as arenas and unlockables, this is pretty much Fight Night Round 2. But it does have some new additions, and either way the gameplay itself is great: Excellent graphics, short loading times, full commentary, create-a-boxer, and smooth control. Ignore the whiners, this game is great on the PSP, it's just not really worth the name "Round 3".

  • Excerpt: This is a great game for the psp and its definatly in the top 5 iv ever played for it. although not quite an old game its graphics are still up to scratch and its good to see a boxing game have more than just one mode too. it offers you single fights, as well as the changing history and there are also some scenarios to try beat such as try throwing over 50 combos in a round.
  • Pros: hours of fun
  • Cons: not much professional boxers
