Conclusion: Really good game, the ability to create players and teams is a big plus which most other football games don't have. However, not all international teams are available and I would have liked to see you able to play clubs as well as internationals.
FIFA Street 2 (PSP): FIFA Street 2 - Not brilliant
9 January 2010
Summary: I love football games so when Fifa Street 2 was released on the PSP, especially as I didn't get to the play the original Fifa Steet I had to try it. I found it enjoyable for a while but that enthusiasm soon wore off. It's a bit different to the normal football games you play out there as you only have 4 players per team and no substitutes and play on street locations. The matches in FIFA Street 2 are all played from the view of a camera on the side of the playing area.
Summary: FIFA Street 2 excels on the PSP due to the nature of the controls. The convenience of the trick shift button allows a user friendly grip and aids showboating, which is what this game is all about. I love it, take to the streets as the new kid on the block, impress with your skills and pick players from different neighbourhoods around the world. Effectively earns skill bills by performing tricks and banging in the goals against all-comers.
Pros: Great showboating gameplay
Cons: Can be a bit same old same old once completed
Summary: This isn't a bad game on the psp, but it could be better. I brought this game for my psp because I had lost the first instalment on ps2. *Gameplay* As with all FIFA games, its got all the players, over 320 pro players and teams. As this is FIFA street, the stadiums are streets across the world, and your ultimate aim, in the main game, is to conquer the world in the street football game, and win all of the national cups, and of course the street football world cup.
Excerpt: "...professional players. The aim of Fifa Street 2 is not just to win, but to humiliate your opponents with a variety of tricks and skills. You create your own player, and choose everything from hair style to earrings, then train him up alongside superstars, who you can then swap to get an incredible line up (even though it is only 4 on 4). There are special hidden and signature tricks to discover, the awesome Gamebreaker as with all EA BIG games. The ...
Summary: The original Fifa Street was a brilliant game. Imaginative and fun, and everything worked. I was totally letdown by Fifa Street 2 on PS2, as they changed everything- no DJ, bad combos, and awful Gamebreaker mode! It took me a long time to get over this game before trying the PSP version. It's actually quite hard to describe Fifa Street 2 on PSP. It really is like a cross between Fifa Street and Fifa Street 2, in a strange way.
Excerpt: "What can I say Fifa have done it again with the new Fifa street 2. The new game is more graphic, more realistic and much more fun.
