Ok, well, it's cute. But, Family Guy is not necessarily cute.

Summary: I was not expecting much from this, but I love Family Guy, and I got a good deal. If you are a big fan of the show, sure, get it. It's fun to have. But, the game play is just so... young. And it's rated M. The audience that would like this are too young to play it. Go figure. I mean, I have no idea what were doing here. Stewie jumping impossibly high on furniture, on top of buildings and collecting power or something so he can shoot his ray gun etc. eh!
Summary: Family Guy is one of the most talked about shows on television, hands down. It's gritty and crude humor has captivated millions, and has caused it to draw on contraversy and rivalry like no other. Every good show deserves a video game. The Simspons has received plenty, Futurama got a game, Southpark got a game. The list goes on and on. Unfortunately, like those games, Family Guy can just as easily be slapped with a "Fans only" label. Is Family Guy a good game?
Excerpt: Positive: Great comedy throughout makes it impossible to put down, and if you love the evil chicken, they you will love this game! Lots of variety - Brian: Sneaking , Peter: Bash 'em Up , Stewie: Shoot 'Em Up / Platformer. Negative: Poor Graphics (unsmooth edges) , annoying bugs throughout the game, which thwart it's chances of being a 5 star game. The lifespan is limited by the fact that nothing is unlocked once you complete the game.
Pros: Hilarious and witty as the show, with a good variety of play
Cons: Poor graphics, annoying bugs and no unlockable features/ multiplayer
Excerpt: I remember getting so excited about this game just coz, you know, it's FAMILY GUY! it's all Freakin' Sweet! Family Guy! Come on! What can go wrong? Gameplay -------------- In the game, you play as either Stewie, Brian or Peter Griffin through different levels of adventure. In order to advance you MUST complete each levels as specified.
Pros: Original characters & voice acting, nice environments
Cons: Slippery controls, difficult to get the hang of it at times
Conclusion: Family Guy is one of my favourite shows but if you are expecting the game to be as good as the show, then be sadly mistaken. The game has decent graphics and the show's voice actors have all been placed in the game, so the game is presented as if it was the show itself and it is done quite well. Sounds are good too, the witty lines and humour that makes Family guy so popular is all here and you will literally laugh out loud at some of the game's dialogue.
Conclusion: As a massive Family Guy fan I found this a bit of a let down really. OK, the graphics and sound are excellent and the humour was spot-on - in fact the whole zany world is captured perfectly. But what you have to deal with is a long line of very frustrating sub-games, one after the other. There are no real choices, character selection or strategic decisions to be made. A shame a little more thought hadn't gone in.
Excerpt: Available now on PSP, Xbox and PS2, Family Guy the game makes you laugh hard 'til you squirt milk from your nose.... ....then it makes you frustrated. Don't get me wrong it's fairly enjoyable and I love Family Guy. Yet there seems to be too many spots where you get stuck in the same area for a few hours trying to sneak past other characters as Brian or master a button bashing technique with Peter.
Pros: Hilarious jokes from the show . Action packed .
Summary: Now I have been watching this show ever since it's debut after the super bowl, and that night it made me laugh my (a) off, for 30 minutes straight, even through commercials...Now this definitely did not do that, it was a great piece of work, and far better then a lot of others shows out there, even live action...but this didn't hit the mark, I found the story kind of dragged and that they "borrowed" a lot from 40 year old virgin.
