Conclusion: I got my PSP the day it came out in the UK, I got this game on the same day. Its the one of the few games I still play. When I first thought of getting it with my PSP package I was a bit iffy and felt like I should wait until a better game came out as I thought this looked childish but, as a big golf fan I decided that i had to get it as I couldnt wait and I do not regret that decision.
Conclusion: Definately worth renting/buying This game is on par (excuse pun) if not better than Tiger woods. Initial attraction is the cute look and feel of the games. Graphics are pretty amazing. Longevity is there as well as you may only progress to newer courses and characters the long and better you play..
Excerpt: So if you want high-octane action, stupendous graphics, impressive 3D physics...then this game isn't for you. But, if you, like me, like golf and enjoy addictive little games then this is certainly a must-have! This is the PSP version of the series of Everybodys Golf games and is much along the same lines....hit the X button to start your swing, again to set the power and again to control the club. Simple!
Probably the most enjoyable and addictive golf game ever to grace a portable...

Excerpt: Whilst never likely to attract the same kind of attention as the Gran Turismo's and God of War's of this world, Everybody's Golf remains one of Sony's most enduring franchises. A series synonymous with its inviting, sunny veneer, EG mixes cute stylings with fiendishly addictive, accessible-with-hidden-depths gameplay that developers Clap Hanz have had nailed since back in the days of the original PlayStation. ..

Pros: Super - addictive, technically proficient, lots of longevity, don't have to like golf to enjoy it
Cons: Putting may frustrate some, infrastructure online would have been nice
Summary: I'll be honest I am not a golf fan, hitting a little ball into a hole leaves me cold, but I got this on the strength of the reviews... as it sounded fun.. and.. well, it still leaves me cold. It's still really dull. I think if you're not really a fan of golf this game isn't gonna change that. If you like golf games you may well love this game to bits. Not me. So, it's not quite 'Everybody's' golf.
Excerpt: Right a quickie as I don't seem to do express reviews!Everybodys Golf is well suited to the PSP platform with vibrant and colourful graphics and generally very good presentation. The game is very simple to set up and has plenty of tweakable options.Playability wise it is excellent and very easy to control with a simple 3 push technique to swing the clubs and shoulder buttons to switch club.
A really enjoyable little game - well worth the money at £15 or under

Excerpt: Like some of the other players, I was initially put off by the cartoon like appearance of the box design but I am glad I brought it. It's a very fun and easy to use game which is perfect for folks like me who enjoy golf games but don't want the full technical experience of some of the more 'sophisticated' games. The format is quite simple, so you can just get on with it and have a 'bash' if that is what you want.
Excerpt: Before I bought this game, I wasn't to sure whether or not it would be any good, because it was quite cheap and the cartoon like graphics put me off a little bit, but how wrong could I be. *Gameplay* There are lots of difficulty settings, so really most people can play it. It simple too, you just need to press circle twice in order to hit the ball, and it's all about timing, with practice you can master this.
