Excerpt: "...we play this game called Dynasty Warriors - one that I had never heard of or seen, so I just agreed and had absolutely no idea what I was about to be playing. As soon as we started and got into battle I found this game absolutely amazing and was astounded at the sheer size of the battles as you have to fight through literally thousands of enemies and eventually defeat some big boss guy! Since playing this version - one of the very first ones I was ...
Summary: About 4 or so years ago now I was round a friend's house and we were playing loads of PS2 games and having loads of fun. He then suggested we play this game called Dynasty Warriors - one that I had never heard of or seen, so I just agreed and had absolutely no idea what I was about to be playing.
Summary: A brilliant debut on a hand held games console, that stays true to the 'spirit' of the series on the consoles I love this as is using the music, level designs, main menu screen & characters from DW4 & you can also assign upto 4 officers to the character that you play as, to begin with there's only a choice of six, but that number increases as you complete levels, beat enemy officers etc.
Summary: Koei's Dynasty Warriors franchise has been around for quite a while, and the series has steadily improved with each incarnation. There are a few changes to the formula now that it's on the PSP, but for the most part the title is the same as it's always been. The game is set in ancient China during a rather turbulent time where the best way to solve a dispute is with a blade to the head.
Excerpt: "Question :- Has the D.W. team triumphed again? As a fan of D.W. since its inception as a P.S.2 launch title/phenomenon, I awaited the P.S.P.version with a mixture of excitement and apprehension.Could they possibly do this classy gaming experience justice on a handheld? Even with its good sized- screen, all- round P.S.2- type-controls and surprisingly big - sounding audio, it seemed a huge ask to transfer anything like the interface that is possible ...
Pros: Huge absorbing strategy combined with beat - em - up mayhem !
Cons: Not enough hours in the day to play the game !
Summary: As a huge fan of the Dynasty Warriors series on the ps2, I was eager to play the psp game, but unsure it would live up to the brilliance of the ps2 series. However, I was delighted to discover that it was just as good! The game is truly a superb production from Koei (the developers). I would recommend this game to everybody; there is something for everybody in this game. 5 out of 5! Happy Gaming!
Summary: Dynasty warriors hasn't been the most sucessful series on the ps2 but koei (the developers) just don't give up and that's a good thing. But the PSP versions simply will blow your mind! The character graphics are amazing but the scenery graphix are not brilliant. The sound is the same as on the ps2 and it has brilliant "uhh" and "eeahhh" sounds. This game is repetitive but it does NOT get boring, ever!
