Dragon Ball Z: Shin Budokai

Dragon Ball Z: Shin Budokai is a fighting video game that is part of the entire Dragon Ball Z franchise. The game was developed by Japan’s Dimps exclusively for the Sony Playstation Portable (PSP). It was published by Atari and Bandai and it was released in North America on March 7, 2006.

The game allows players to choose from seven different modes. The first is the Dragon Road story mode which is based on the events that took place in the Dragon Ball Z movie Fusion Reborn. Players of this mode are supposed to make a number of different choices as they progress in the game and the decisions they make have a direct impact on how the story unfolds.

Another mode available to players of Dragon Ball Z: Shin Budokai is the Arcade mode. This allows players to compete against the CPU. Each time the player wins, a Dragon Ball is gained.

Dragon Ball Z: Shin Budokai also offers a Training mode where players can practice battles with the CPU. Players of this mode can choose which two characters to fight with and the battlefield where the fights will take place. Players must also set their health level, starting ki, and check energy.

The game also offers Time Attack and Survival modes. In Time Attack, players have to go through seven courses wherein enemies must be fought within the shortest time possible. In Survival, players continuously fight enemies and the game only ends when the player loses.

It also offers a Profile Card mode in which players can design their own customize their characters using items from an the game’s item store.

Apart from these, Dragon Ball Z: Shin Budokai can be played in Network Battle mode which allows players to battle wirelessly with others.
