Summary: I actually used to not care for "rhythm games". I've tried a few (some obscure, some major titles...I'll keep those unnamed), but ultimately they fell flap and failed to show me why rhythm games are even games. But music is a huge part of my life and I came across some music tracks from the DJ Max franchise while looking for new sounds and ideas...and some of it was really spectacular. That was enough for me to give one more "rhythm game" a chance..
Summary: The Good: Awesomely huge soundtrack, super addictive game play, lots of extras The Bad: Same as the Korean versions, nothing new has been added, missing key songs from previous titles DJ Max is a huge rhythm game hit in Korea that use a DDR type game play style. There is obviously no dance mat so you have to use the face buttons and this works out just fine. There are 4 button, 5, 6, and 8 button modes. While 4 is the easiest 8 can be damn near impossible.
Summary: Since the game's release, I've probably spent close to 80 hours on it so far. And you know what? I've only unlocked 19% of content so far! There are a ton of things to do and unlock. There are characters(that players can use as avatars) to unlock, interfaces to unlock and music videos to unlock.
