Engrossing one-on-one fighter with a well balanced system, thought out story, and plenty of action, only occasionally bogged down by the camera. Read more

In spite of nagging camera problems and an intimidatingly complicated battle system, Dissidia is an outstanding fighter that does a fantastic job of giving Final Fantasy fans exactly what they want. Read more

Dissidia: Final Fantasy is a joyful experience that piles on the pleasures, within both its gameplay and its feature set. You earn real-time rewards represented by a Chocobo's journey; you can save battle replays, edit them, and export them as video files; and Moogles send you bizarre messages with points included to spend on more unlockables. In other words, there's a lot of game in here, more than some people will know what to do with. It's disappointing that some of... Read more

Dissidia: Final Fantasy is just an amazing experience. I went in with memories of an earlier Square Enix fighting game, Ehrgeiz , expecting a similar and enjoyable adventure. Instead, I found myself immersed in a whole world and story that I almost felt I had to keep playing. There was just so much to see and experience, and so much to unlock, that I could see Dissidia: Final Fantasy being the only PSP game someone would need for a 30-60 day period of time. There’s... Final Fantasy : anyone who’s ever pressed an X button is familiar with Square’s behemoth that is the Final Fantasy series of turn-based RPGs. They’re a collection of epic tales matched only by their fiercely memorable cast – good luck bumping into a gamer who has never heard the name Sephiroth – and for anyone who has ever wished to see the gaming world’s most revered protagonists and antagonists duke it out, Dissidia: Final Fantasy is for you. Dissidia... Read more

Okay, let's bring the villain and hero from every Final Fantasy up to X and put them all in a battle - heroes vs. villaiins. The graphics are great for the PSP, but the sound isn't all that. The controls are okay, but the gameplay is so repetitive that you'll forget about everything else and just keep screaming into the screen. I'm only going to say it once - FINAL FANTASY IS NOT A BOARD GAME!!!!!!! The story is all the heroes must gather their crystal to stop Chaos.... Read more

I was excited when I had heard about a Final Fantasy game that was not a RPG. Yes you read that right, excited. Even moreso was the fact that it was in the fighting genre. Imagine fighting as Cloud against Squall or Cecil against the Warrior of Light. Finally you could prove who was a better FF protagionist or villian, or match your favorite against others who are his equals. It was a game I anticipated with glee. Finally, I had acquired a copy and all my waiting could... Read more
