Summary: As a veteran Disgaea Player I can assure fellow vets this game is worth the purchase, even though it diverts from the standard Tactical style of the main series. The game is hilarious as to be expected from Disgaea, the art is beautiful and the integrated game play with the largely story-book feel of the game is interesting.
Summary: I've reviewed a fair number of niche games on Amazon already. This one is probably one of the most niche games I've reviewed thus far. Disgaea Infinite is a visual novel based on the world and characters of the Disgaea series. What's a visual novel, you ask? Well, in this case, it's sort of like a choose-your-own-adventure book -- you watch the characters interact with each other and then your choices impact how the story unfolds.
Summary: well dood there back again and this time its a "choose your own adventure type game", like the books i read in school , i love it dood!!! there are some cool things you can do in this choose your own adventure game, mind control, possess etc.. with the possess option you jump body's as the prinny who finds tic toc clock, the story line is great and the game goes on for a bit with many options , i must say for 20 bucks this game is well worth it and the re-play value is...
Entertaining as long as you know what you're getting

Summary: This arrived yesterday and I haven't gotten a chance to play through all of it yet but I did manage to sink some time into. If you're expecting gameplay like the previous Disgaea games, you'll be disappointed. In terms of gameplay, this is closer to the Phoenix Wright games than the past Disgaea games, but that's fine by me. You play a Prinny trying to solve the mystery of an assassination attempt on Laharl.
Summary: Before even starting the game, after about 30 seconds, you are taken from the title screen and shown a little cutscene that gives the player a "recap" of the history of Disgaea. I use the quotes because after the completely random and innaccurate cutscene, some of the characters even appear andpoint out how stupid and wrong the recap you were just watching was. Man, this game already broke the 4th wall before I even got a chance to press "New Game.
