Summary: A fairly direct port of the popular PS2 game "Disgaea: Hour of Darkness", "Disgaea: Afternoon of Darkness" mostly keeps things the same, though a few new features are added. Summary: I was hesitant to pick this game up, as I'd read so many reviews that highlighted its comedic aspects over its gameplay, but I am happy to say that I do not regret my purchase. The comedy is there and is sometimes actually amusing, but the gameplay takes center stage as far as I'm concerned.
Excerpt: This section is for your impressions and reviews of the game, after having played it, not general gaming discussion or discussion about our posted review (feel free to discuss that on our boards).
Summary: This is a good game with solid mechanics and some fairly comical writing that is certainly enjoyable. The main story takes a long while to get through and all of the extra content will take hundreds and hundreds of hours to complete.
Summary: I picked this game up about 4 weeks ago mainly for the story because i watched the anime. the story so far follows the anime but the gameplay is also pretty nice if you are into final fantasy tactics.
Summary: Nippon Ichi’s Disgaea: Hour of Darkness first came to North American shores courtesy Atlus, and became a hit among critics, with the developer ultimately establishing their own North American branch.
