Good Port of a Solid Game

Lisa Shea, Amazon
15 February 2008
  • Summary: A fairly direct port of the popular PS2 game "Disgaea: Hour of Darkness", "Disgaea: Afternoon of Darkness" mostly keeps things the same, though a few new features are added. Amusing, Deep Game

C. Woodward, Amazon
13 January 2008
  • Summary: I was hesitant to pick this game up, as I'd read so many reviews that highlighted its comedic aspects over its gameplay, but I am happy to say that I do not regret my purchase. The comedy is there and is sometimes actually amusing, but the gameplay takes center stage as far as I'm concerned.

Denali Hall, Amazon
20 December 2007
  • Summary: I ended up re-selling this game. The plot seemed great. But the battle sequences are long, and are very strategy orientated. I don't mind it, but i got stuck on like the fourth battle.

You'll never finish it.

Cory, Amazon
19 December 2007
  • Summary: This is a good game with solid mechanics and some fairly comical writing that is certainly enjoyable. The main story takes a long while to get through and all of the extra content will take hundreds and hundreds of hours to complete.
