Darkstalkers... If you know what it is, you probably like it...

Jon, Amazon
3 August 2010
  • Summary: I've been playing this game since I was 16, when darkstalkers 3 came out. My only complaint is that the game doesn't have a built in command list for characters special moves.

Good fighting game

Lupe "Lupe", Amazon

  • Summary: Good day there. I have to say when I first played this game on my old PSP which was the original when it first came out, I was frustrated with the d-pad to perform the moves because most of the time, it wouldn't recognize the input at times.

Fun Game. Not Perfect, But Still A Lot Of Fun.

S. F. "meefirst", Amazon
11 October 2005
  • Summary: I've been a fan of Capcom 2-D fighters since I can remember. That being said, Darkstalkers was probably the best title to pick for a launch game. They get to tweak the system for any future 2-D releases (could a certain fighter with the initials S.F. be in the works?

The love-child of Streetfighter II and The Adams Family

tom1clare, Dooyoo
12 September 2011
  • Excerpt: Picture the scene: it's the turn of the millennium and the biggest video game brawlers are beginning another term at Fight School. Swatty Streetfighter is still the teacher's pet; Tekken is busy beating up the new kids and Dead Or Alive is being its usual pervy self behind the bike sheds.

Best Fighting Game on PSP

Mr. Richard J. Mason, Amazon
27 September 2005
  • Summary: This was the first game I bought for my PSP, and is probably my most frequently played. It has a stylish feel to it and is enjoyable... it is one of those games you can just pick up anytime you want and play. It is easy going, has many different modes that keep you playing a long time.

Great game with only one drawback.

Martyn Stanley, Amazon
27 September 2005
  • Summary: All the characters, lots of games modes, great graphics and sound. I loved Capcom's 2 player beat em' ups, and I love mythical monsters so this is likely to be a hit! This is a great version, with a really polished feel and it translates well to the handheld.

  • Summary: It makes a great time waster and has matches you can just jump right into. The gameplay is fun and sometimes challenging. The art is great but it is let down by the strange interface and controls (having the option to use the thumbstick would be nice).

Solid effort for the first PSP fighting game

brainleek007, Amazon
27 September 2005
  • Summary: Darkstalkers Chronicle is a 2D fighting game in the familiar mould of the Streetfighter series. There are 18 characters on offer here from the lesser known Darkstalkers series of games which offer somewhat of a refreshing change to the normal SF2 gang and will probably come a breath of fresh air to...
