Excerpt: "...championship mode, where you become Colin Mcrae and hopefully win the championship! Every track that you play through that you don't have unlocked is automatically unlocked, which is good since this rally takes you across the whole world one country at a time. Pit stops add even more realism too the game, where you are allowed 60 minuites to repair most or some of the damage done to your car if you havn't done that much. if you have, then you can ...
Pros: brilliant graphics, 8 player wirless, very realistic, carrer mode and championship, unlockable tracks and cars
Cons: no infrastructure, no game sharing, longish loading times
Summary: This is a cute little rally game, which if you're used to the big console versions will be quite familiar in most ways. It looks like CMR2 on a PC, that is, quite good. I found that it was hard to get any decent times with the 2-wheel drive cars, so stuck with the 4WD ones, with which I did much better. If I wanted to actually complete the game this would have been frustrating.

It is a straightforward rally game which will be familiar to players of the Mcrae series, published by those experienced gamemakers, Codemasters. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Gameplay - Once the disc has loaded up you are presented with a choice of career and single race modes - as this suggests ...
Summary: This game was my first game on the PSP and it was a great introduction to the world of the PSP. The graphics are stunning and the realism of the drive is fantastic. Only thing wrong though is the scenery and people. They look great and fit in from a distance but as you approach them at 90mph you notice that the people look like faded cardboard cutouts and the scenery such as the trees are as thin as paper.
Summary: Firstly this game is great. Like the other reviewers, I too love Colin on the PS2, XBOX, PC etc. Also like the other reviewers I thought this game was VERY hard to begin with. After a couple of hours though, I got to grips with it and started to get somewhere. As one of the earlier PSP games there are going to be some minor niggles (hence 4 stars and not 5). The analogue handling is a little sensitive.
Summary: Having played CMR on the PC I was very impressed with how realistic it is. The PSP version also offers realistic handling but this might present a problem. It is difficult to get used to and the ability to just sit down and have a race/good drive around is just not there. I was frustrated at how difficult it is to just stay on the course. I guess I has hoped for a little more of the "Arcade" style rallying.
Excerpt: e jeu est vraiment un des plus réaliste sur psp ! LEs graphismes sont absolument irréprochables, les voitures semble plus vraies que nature. Les dégâts sont très bien immités, les bruits pareils, de même pour les paysages.
