Conclusion: Obviously being on the PSP the data files are not as large as the PC version but this is still a pretty fine effort. Detailed foreign squads so you can pick up some real bargains to help with those promotion pushes from the lower leagues. Much better than 07 where each game takes you a good 10 minutes. Passes a lot of time!
Conclusion: Games like these in my opinion should not be amde for a console, just for computers. The controls are complecated and lacks enjoyment. Brought the game and only used it twice. Plus I rate Football Manager better for overall performance and addictivness.
Summary: When I first got this game I thought "Brilliant, a manager game I can play whilst in the car"... I've always been a fan of this kind of game but I've never been able to crack how to do them so I would always lose matches 5-0 or more... However, after much tampering and tinknering with tactics and formations, I rectified that and ultimately managed back to back successive promotions with halifax, going from the conference to the premiership in 5 seasons and finishing 2nd...
Summary: I think this is a very good game. There are a number of leagues that can be played all round the world and there are also various mission type scenarios such as avoiding relegation, gaining promotion and winning a European trophy. So there is certainly a good amount of variety. The game allows you to see the game played out on a 2D pitch which I liked.
Summary: This is without doubt the best football management game on the PSP ever! It is almost perfect in every way. The controls and graphics are simple but this means you can spend more time playing. The matches are good, especially the 2D match engine and the results are often realistic. There is a huge database of players from many countries and part of the challenge of this game is to find the best foreign players!
Summary: I have been playing CM PSP for several months now and despite some very frustrating niggles I have to say the game is involving, challenging and a fantastic buy. Some people seem to find it hard to take that you don't pick the game up and be instantly successful even though they chose chelsea and bought Thierry Henry. I for one would be disappointed if you could.
The lads gave 110% but in the end the quality is lacking.

Summary: I have been a champ manager from the very beginning and have owned every edition of this fine series up to the eidos SI split. I made a tried both football manager and champ manager on the pc and found the SI game to be the superior edition. I would still be playing fm had my son not destroyed my laptop. With little choice I have turned my attention to the world of playstation. I find champ on the PSP to be a fairly good game for a handheld management game.
Summary: This game is rubbish. i love manager games espesially football manager and wgen i heared this was better i thought great but then i bought it and thought wot a waste of money. dont listen to any other reviews cause this is the truth. unless u have 18 hours a day spare and can wait till full time on all the match that are always 0-0.
