Summary: The Good: Addictive and fast paced game play, everyone loves cakes, lots of upgrades to buy, the PSP's widescreen is a plus The Bad: The game drags out too long, lame story, bland visuals and audio, makes you want to eat cake CakeMania has the same play style as Diner Dash so fans of that game know what kind of fun they are walking into here.

Summary: I liked it very much - challenges you with your hand-eye-controls without the seriousness and bloodiness of hack-and-slash games :) It's all about speed. It was quite short, but challenging enough that I had to retry levels sometimes just to get everything right. Controls take a little getting used to but not really hard - I really haven't seen bugs in it like other posters did (FYI I played it on a PSP 3000). If you're a casual gamer, this is one that you can try.

Summary: Really this appealed to me because I love cooking and baking Blah, Blah...this is a good game for casual gamers and I would assume girls would be the ones playing this mostly I being a girl. it was cute and easy to get through not much thinking involved and really that's why i got it so its good for that it was!
Summary: I love this game its one of my favorite games to play. Now I can play it on my psp. I already play it online. But that why I love this game so much that I brought so I can play it all the time.
Summary: Cakemania run on a pretty simple concept. Attend to walk-in customers, bake a cake according to their preference (complete with dressing) and collect the payment. Things get really challenging when different customers drop-in at the same time and you would have to attend to them fast or they'll walk away fuming! You'll also be required to upgrade your bakery with more "cake stations", faster ovens and even TV sets to keep the customers distracted!
Summary: We cycled this game through our inventory specifically to try it out and see if it was anything like the Diner Dash series. This is one of those games that you buy, beat in three days, sell immediately afterwards and NEVER, EVER think about it again. Cake Mania: Baker's Challenge is a sad attempt at recreating the Diner Dash experience, however, there's a little to be said about the gameplay. There are four modes of play; all of them similar to each other.
