Burnout Dominator

The Gamers Temple
1 September 2007
  • Excerpt: Burnout Dominator has no crash mode. There, now you know. If this was your favorite mode in Burnout games past, then this news will surely be disappointing to you. However, Dominator still provides for some great racing action so if you can forgive the omission of the crash mode you’ll find yourself enjoying the game.

  • Conclusion: THE VERDICT: It's maybe not the best in the series, as it is essentially a rehash - again - and this pulls the incredibly important number at the end of the review down, but judged on its own merits and as a bow and exit for the series on PS2, this is an absolute gem of a game. Is it worth it? Yes it is.

  • Pros: Exciting fast-paced gameplay, interesting recombination of modes and features from previous games, good sense of speed
  • Cons: Can be tough to make out traffic at a distance, online multiplayer would have made both the PSP and PS2 versions better
