Summary: Not my favorite. some levels are really hard and if you die, even at the end of a mission, you have to go all the way back to the beginning of that mission..so no saved progress during a mission. I hate that.
Summary: If this game was 19.99 it would be worth the money. the graphics on this game are ok, the controls arent very good and the gameplay itself isnt all that great for an FPS. If you have to have a WWII type FPS go for meal of honor.
Summary: I really enjoyed playing the Brothers In Arms games on the PS2 several years ago and so I thought I'd revisit the series with this. The PSP verion is pretty much the same as the games on the PS2 with simialer levels and the same style of gameplay. The one thing that lets this game down is the control system which is incredibly hard to get use to.
Excerpt: "The game is set in world war 2, and is based on the 101st legion that battled in Normandy. The story is told from the perspective of two soldiers, Matt baker and Joe Hartsock. The game takes you through the actual battlefields of the war in the form of a diary, when each day is a new level. Pros: great cutscences, story telling and strategic gameplay
Excerpt: "Well lets get down to the good, the bad, and the just plain ugly. Ill start with the ugly, this game does not support infrastructure game play, this is the year 2007 and all games should support it by now, the controls are extremely ugly; not picking up tips from EA and their MEDAL of Honor: Heroes, they go and make a god awful control scheme to say the least, though to be fair they do offer 2 control schemes, problem is one of them sucks and the ...
Pros: Game Can Be Fun When You Get Used To The Lackluster Controls, Graphics Are Good At Times
Cons: Controls have A Steep Learning Curve, AI Is Usually Bad, Graphics Are Usually Bad, Lack Of Infrastructure Mode
Summary: Brothers in Arms: D-Day BIA D day, has all the makings of a very good game. The graphics are ambitious and overall very nice. Easily comparable to moh heroes. They wouldn't look bad if they were on ps2. The sound is not bad. Not as good as moh heroes though. The gameplay is different in the way that it is squad based and tactical rather than run 'n' gun, like other fps's. I think that the tactical gameplay works very well on the psp, and is really fun to play.
