Excerpt: I love playing cricket (I play for Bapchild) and loved Brian Lara International Cricket on the playstation and couldn't wait for a cricket game to come out on the PSP. This is the first and only cricket game available for the PSP that I am aware of and it does not disappoint. GAMEPLAY When I first got this game I could not get off it and I was hooked straight away! It offers a good range of challenges including batting, bowling and fielding with 16 challenges in all.
Summary: I also think the reviews below have been quite harsh. I have been enjoying playing this game and think its definitely more playable than EA's cricket series. Its easy to learn and pick up and play and those are important attributes for a PSP game. The Pressure Play mode is especially good for learning the game and is fun on its own.
Summary: I think the reviews so far have been harsh. I think this is a very playable game and a perfectly good cricket sim. Its not perfect and there are some aspects which are a bit strange (very easy to bowl sides out for ridiculous scores, no test matches, Dalrymple in the England team) but once you start getting used to it and move up the levels it presents a good challenge, particularly with the batting.
Summary: I like this game. It's not too complicated yet requires a bit of cricket nouce! I prefer bowling and finding the divets in the crease, there is nothing more satisfying than being hit for a six and then bowling a perfect ball and hearing that chink of the stumps being knocked over!! I'm still learning my batting technique, Ive banged a few fours and ran a lot of singles so far.
