Summary: Brave Story: New Traveler is probably the best turn-based JRPG you will find on the PSP. I previously owned this game before re-purchasing it here on Amazon. It is still as great as I remembered it to be. One thing for sure remains with BSNT, it's TURN-BASED. I know that it is a traditional role playing form when it comes to these type of games but there are times when it gets real tedious as with almost any turn based role playing game that I have played in the past.
Summary: I bought my psp at launch, and am still not only enjoying everything the system has to offer (watching movies, playing games, listening to music etc.) but I'm still discovering hidden little gems like this one. This is an old school turn based rpg with fantastic graphics, and well paced action and difficulty. Story is nothing ground breaking, but serviceable, but it's ok, the production and game play make up for any minor complaints.
Summary: Very similar in gameplay to the upgraded remakes of classic Final Fantasy RPGs like 3 and 4 for both the PSP and the DS, but has its own "extras" like bird hunting and its own unique accessory crafting element. I'm not deep in the game but I'm enjoying the story thus far and would highly reccomend this for fans of classic turn based RPG play like Dragon Quest, Final Fantasy, etc.
Summary: PERFECT GAME except for the voice acting during every battle. GORGEOUS MUSIC, SCENERY, great characters, good story, simple as pie turn based combat system, exactly what i love about rpgs..gosh darn it if it werent for the YELLING VOICES this game would be 100%..so because of the annoying voice acting i have to give it 4.7 stars. get it and just turn down the sound when grinding for levels!
Summary: The Good: Graphics are easy on the eyes, battles are quick and deep, Unity and Bravura attacks mix up the typical standards, story steers away from standard JRPGs, mini-games add a nice touch The Bad: Graphics could have been better, yak yak text reading, constant random battles are extremely frustrating, not being able to escape most of the time adds to that frustration After the poor results of Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology, Brave Story comes around with a big...
