Good game but slow ordering
3 January 2013
Summary: so about two days before Christmas i ordered this as well as a 4 gigabyte memory stick plus another game, now the memory stick came first the following the other game, BUT i have not got the product yet, which is frustrating because i was not home when the mail man came so they didn't leave the package or a conformation slip which the usps web site said other wise, i use to have this game and it is awesome, in my opinion its like the same one on the PS2.
Summary: This is the first game that i got for the psp. It was really fun and had good graphics but just like other atv game it gets boring after awhile. When u beat it there is nothing else to do becides freeride and after u go to every place and explore it gets really boring. I found out later that it is the exact same game on the ps2 Atv 3 and i got more bored of it after i got it for the ps2. If i were u unless u really like it i would just buy it for the ps2.
Summary: I think this game is exactly what it is supposed to be. A portable version of the PS2 ATV offroad fury games. It takes a little getting used to with the PSP but you get used to it after a few tracks. It is a little hard but so were the console versions. The more you play it the better you get. I don't agree with that review that said nobody plays this online cause the first day I got it, (which was about a week ago[8/06/08]), there were several games going on.
Summary: I really have mixed feelings on that game. First, I tried the training mode. It took a while to do a good preload but I finally got it. Then I had to do tricks and I decided that the training was over and that I would try my chance at the championship. Surprisingly, on the easy setting, I won almost all the races and got the gold cup on all the tournaments. I really liked the various kind of vehicles that I could drive. For me, the best race setting was the rally mode.
Summary: It seems that this game has been getting a lot of mixed reviews. Either some people absolutely hated it or some loved every minute of it. Since it was cheap at my local game store, I decided to throw caution to the wind and see for myself whether it was worth the $8. HANDS DOWN. THIS GAME IS FANTASTIC. Now I can understand why some people had trouble with the controls. The difference between using the pad and the analog stick is vast.
Summary: I expected a little more from this game. The end result: I was disappointed and frustrated with this game after hours of play. It took almost an hour to beat 1 track in the championship round, and its only because I just accepted my 4th place loss and shut off the system for the time being. If you are looking for a challenging game with crazy controls, this is for you, but if you are an amateur (like me) you might want to consider looking elsewhere.
