Submarine was the greatest Midway arcade game by far

A. Jones, amazon.co.uk
4 September 2009
  • Summary: SUBMARINE was the greatest Midway arcade game by a bloody long stretch via its addictive ultra realistic gameplay so why on earth hasn't it been included in any of these modern Midway PS2/PSP compilations??? These games would have been worldwide best sellers with its inclusion. I probably enjoyed it more than Space Invaders and Defender put together!! Never mind I'll have to look round for an old restored console on the Internet...

Midway have really gone low on this game

John Evans, amazon.co.uk
27 November 2007
  • Summary: Midway Arcade Treasures i own the PS2 versions of this game so i thought i must check this one out. First thing is when you boot this game you get big issues with the controls the screen starts selecting down on its own, Sometimes this happens and can cause you to lose a game. The game features Midways all time classic game Mortal Kombat 1, 2 and 3 which was the main reason i bought the game and the psp version of it is not at it's best.

Not as good as it should be...

J. E. Davenport "tropnevadj", amazon.co.uk
24 April 2006
  • Summary: Like the other reviewer, I too bought this game as I used to love defender when I was a lad...(now 35)...I have found it almost impossible to play...initially I thought it was because I was rubbish, but maybe it is just too small a screen to play some of the games. I also found Paperboy difficult to control and the only saving grace is perhaps the Mortal Combat trio..
