Conclusion: The game is fun, but is really for kids. The mini-games are only earned after you scored some levels. This means that you first have to catch all the apes before you get the mini-games as a bonus. But for kids it’s a really fun.
Excerpt: This game is similar to ape academy as on ape escape on the loose your walking but you can still play different games which is monkey madness!!! It is great if you like games like that and also its brilliant and you can catch monkeys as you're a person on this game .
Summary: I bought this game ages ago as the first game on my psp, the game itself is quite fun and can be entertaining for short periods but too repetitive to play it for more than half an hour at a time. The graphics are good and are very similar to cell-shading but not quite as refined.
Excerpt: When I had my PSP I knew I had to get this game when I saw it, the only thing is I am not even sure that it is out in Europe! I got this game imported and I was pleasantly shocked and also a little dissapointed at this playstation 1 remake.
Excerpt: Pretty much a port from the PS2 version with a few simple updates and twists. In Ape Escape you play the hero Spike a manga type hero who utilises a net to catch the pesky monkeys running loose in history.
Pros: Fun, cartoony action game with lots of mini games .
