Summary: Good effort but !! .... although this game was outsourced to Shift (creator of that old DEVIL DICE), the idea was very good but it lacks still the humor and brightness of orignal creators of Sony for the highly brilliant APE ESCAPE on PS ....
Summary: This is an excellent game for those long trips, rainy days, or just a to pass time every now and then. It has over 25 individual games that test your memory, reflexes, and perception in games such as: Mon Quixote where you protect yourself with a shield from flying arrows, to monkey karate, RoShambo where you shoot rock paper scissors out of a gun to attack another monkey, monkey foosball, etc.
Summary: Older guy rating a kids game so consider that with my review. This was a fun game. I recently finished it and I graduated from Ape Escape Academy! It has several games to play and most are fun and challenging. There are only two negative things I could say about the game. First, one of the games is totally dependent on chance with no skill involved. Two, the final level to graduate is totally based on fighting.
Summary: When my little brother bought this game, he bought it because he likes monkeys and he likes cutesy games that appeal to his age group (5-7). this game is not for said age group. On, the contrary, it is so difficult it is likey to frustrate 5 year old to the point of damaging his gaming equiptment. The difficulty of this game has given me and the rest of my family a headache on many occasions.
Summary: I RECENTLY GOT A P.S.P. AND THIS IS MY FIRST GAME. AT FIRST I THOUGHT IT WAS JUST SONY TRYING TO MAKE AN APE ESCAPE VERSION OF MARIO PARTY.I WAS WRONG...WAY WRONG! IN A WAY IT IS THOUGH. IT'S FILLED WITH APEISH MINI-GAMES. MY MOM AND HER FRIENDS ARE HOOKED ON IT. WE ALL TAKE TURNS PLAYING.IN ACADEMY MODE(STORY MODE)YOU MUST PLAY NINE MINI-GAMES AND PASS A CERTAIN # TO PASS AND REACH THE NEXT GRADE. I'M STUCK ON UKKI WHITE'S GRADE 4. I ENJOY THIS GAME ALOT SO LATER!
Summary: But not the worst. This is my first venture into the world of Ape Escape, and I can't say it was horrible, but not particularly interesting. This is a bunch of mini-games where you're at an academy trying to advance on to the next grade level. Each "Grade Level" consists of nine mini games you'll have to play through. The games are randomly generated. I suppose what I had trouble with with this game was getting the required lines to graduate.
