It was developed exclusively for the Sony Playstation Portable (PSP) by England’s Rebellion Developments. The game was published by Sierra Entertainment and, In North America, it was released on November 13, 2007.
In the game, players take on the role of an elite lone Predator who has access to a wide variety of exotic weaponry and equipment. Both classic and futuristic weapons can be accessed using the Pradetor’s wrist computer. Some of the futuristic weapons available in the game are wrist blades, laser trip mines, and dual shoulder cannons. Players also have access to thermal vision and cloaking which they can use to track, stalk, and kill both humans and aliens. The main objective of the game is for the Predator to find all the parts of a crashed spaceship in order to keep humans from finding them and consequently giving up the secrets of its technology.
Three main storylines are offered in the game and players can choose from each to complete different types of missions. It also offers a Skirmish mode where the player’s objective is to kill as many aliens as possible within a span of five minutes per level.
In Alien Vs Predator: Requiem, players earn “Honor Points” for completing each mission. This honor point system evaluates players according to how closely they adhere to the Predator’s value system which gives importance to killing aliens and not humans. As players gain more honor points, weapons and armor upgrades become available.
Alien Vs Predator: Requiem offers a co-op multiplayer mode allowing its players to team up with others wirelessly.

Most of these consisted of flicking switches and hitting the same enemies with the same attacks for six hours, whilst the developers stuck in a timely clip from the movie every now and then to keep their employers happy. some of the features - the ones that made it so easy. The hand-holding map, health boosts, and high-powered arsenal sap the fun out of what could have been a decent third-person shooter. Instead, this game is straight-up mediocre through and through. But as Read more
It's fun to say we've evolved to the point that we don't need snazzy graphics to recognize a quality gaming experience, but most of us still prefer a good-looking, quality experience. All the better if that snazzy exterior happens to be a goldmine of sci-fi geek lore, the Alien vs. Predator: Requiem license. The game of the movie in this case ends up being about what people loved and hated about the recently released film. Those that follow and adore the characters will... Read more
I remember a time when playing an Alien / Predator title was a joy. My first experience with the series was on the PC many years ago. Walking through the halls of an abandoned military station playing as a human was tremendously frightening and made me wonder at the possibilities of the same match-up in the cinema. Two horrible theater schlockfests later and a gaming series has dilapidated into nothing more than a shell of its former self. Read more
I tackled Aliens vs. Predator: Requiem with plenty of confidence. The opening looked good, and the control list was easy to deal with. Button commands were responsive. The action was almost immediate. I threw myself into the game as though I were the Predator. Damn, I was good. I was really kicking butt. I couldn't believe how well I was doing. Years of reviewing games for a living were finally paying off. "I am superhuman," I thought to myself. "I may as well be from... Read more
Fun: The game is fun when you play it the first time. However, replay value is poor. It is way too easy and very boring playing it again. I suggest you just rent it or not even bother at all. Read more
It‘s life Jim but not as we know it. Funny coincidence. Who‘d have though the release date of the game would tie in with the latest AVP film… For the game, a spaceship carrying those nasty little facehugger critters has crash–landed on earth. You, as a soldier–Predator, must hunt them down and erase the cargo that has also crashed onto the planet. The trouble is, by the time you catch up with the universe‘s most loved bad guys, they‘ve already spawned into... Read more
