I wanted this game to be so much better.

Summary: Sorry this will be a short review. I purchased this game with the hope that it would be another slam dunk Nippon Ichi title and hopefully an improvement, or at least on par, with on the . I couldn't be more wrong. The load times in this game almost make it unplayable. I'm not even talking inbetween battles or dialogue, there are noticable loading hiccups while scrolling from one item in a menu to the next item in the menu.
Summary: I'm not really past the first chapter of the game, and I've restarted everytime I've figured out something dramatically wrong with how I was doing it. The story line behind the game isn't bad. The game itself, once you begin to understand how to do this or that, progresses decently. Game play, on the other hand, leaves much to be desired.
Summary: I'm a fan of Nippon Ichi and the strategy rpgs they've released on the PS2, so when I saw they had released a strat rpg for the PSP, I immediately bought it. The problem is, Generation of Chaos is merely a game published by N1, and like Atelier Iris, it's a rather boilerplate kind of game that lacks the acerbic wit of say Disgaea.
