Summary: I am on my way to the first meeting with this little charmer. It certainly is light and small, and I'm able to project a large screen with fairly good picture quality (have only tried PPT which is hard to mess up). It seems a little noisy in my small office, though the other reviewers haven't noted that and I imagine in a larger room during a presentation the noise will be virtually unnoticeable.
Summary: I have had a Qumi Q2 for a year, using it extensively (I travel a lot as a consultant)...it has withstood travel, TSA, and more. It is the right size, right weight. Disadvantages are the low brightness and inability to run from battery. It is not a replacement for full-size projectors or TV displays (I use them alot, too). But it has been a lifesaver several times - and NO ONE ELSE comes close.
Summary: I have used this a few times now and I'm pretty happy with it. I love that it projects my iPad presentations with great hdmi quality. It is brighter than I expected and you can get the picture quite large by moving the projector farther from the screen/wall. I do find having to use the remote a little annoying and I can't figure out how to make it find a device directly from the unit. It does not come with a manual.
Pros: Projection size, bright picture, small size, hdmi connection
Cons: Doesn't automatically detect connection, no adjustment or place to connect a tripod
Summary: The projector is awesome! I bought it for its compact size as I travel a lot and am often doing presentations. The color is good, though I wish there were more color management features. The lumens also don't allow for a great picture when there is a ton of ambient light. The LED bulb also will save you money if you use it often as it has many more hours over the traditional bulb projectors.
Pros: Portability, LED bulb.
Cons: Still needs to be plugged in, accessories not readily available.
