Excerpt: Compact-check Bright-check Cute-Check With single USB port it is not possible to present from flash drive and access WI-FI with (optional) dongle; so still married to laptop for one or the other. Internet surfing is virtually impossible with the "virtual keyboard" feature-terrible interface ! The interactive screens could benefit from translation improvement, proofing. Would have expected this device at this price to have Bluetooth compatibility but it does not.
Summary: Love the size and the projected clarity is plenty good. My issue with it is that it's not plug-n-play. It would not paginate a pdf file off a thumb drive (as advertised) and their tech support couldn't resolve. When I got the HDMI adapter to plug into its HDMI port (from my USB port on my Dell xp13 laptop) -- another $70 device -- it worked once but then quit.

Summary: I can see why people rave about this little wonder...in the first few hours of operation, the picture was bright and clear, even at 84" diagonal. Sadly, within the space of 10 hours, it's brightness diminished substantially, and the focus, even after the "warm-up" time required, just didn't cut it...even in comparison to my Optoma GT200 (150 lumens) vs the Qumi's 500. An important thing to know...I bought this as a refurb through Amazons' partner, Woot.
Summary: Good Afternoon, I bought a projector Qumi Q5 few months ago and used it 3 or 4 times. Today I went to use the projector for a business presentation and noticed some black spots in the projected image. Then these small black spots began to multiply the screen and soon were taking the whole image. I realized I totally lost the brightness of the image ... What do happened to my projector? How do I manage to get my projector repaired?
