Summary: I purchased this projector to use with our trade show booth to project presentations during convention traffic. The picture is crisp and high def - clear and beautiful! The interface is simple and it connects easily to an iPad (with the correct adapter) and laptop. Since this is a side-ventilating projector, it works well if it needs to be close to something. The original projector shut off when it was up against our booth fabric. I highly recommend this projector!
Summary: This projector incorporates everything you could need in a projector to keep it fully connected to your theater or man cave. It has every connector you could need to hook up to it along with built in speakers and an audio out port. It gives you the versatility to hook all types of medias up to it and put it practically anywhere in a room and provide a full HD experience.
Summary: I'm into big screen game since 2010. I own this as soon as it was available into consumer electronic market in 2010 at that time i paid $1k. Well its Full 1080p HD. It has got Stunning Video Quality, projects Crystal clear Blue-ray videos experienced till 120" on white wall(dunn want to spend another 300 buks for Elite screen). But got only 2,000 hours. You will not regret paying $1 for 5 hours of eye catching videos quality(new bulb ~$400 gives 2000 hours).
Summary: In summary, I've owned this projector for about a month, and my thoughts so far are that this projector is fantastic; I can't think of much I don't like about it. I'm going to touch on a few aspects I feel might be useful for people in making their decisions. First, my setup. This is my first projector. I have this projector in my living room which has quite a bit of ambient light.
Summary: I purchased this and a white 107 inch manual screen and am amazed with the picture quality. I also am using a Sony surround sound dvd & wireless system. I sometimes have low resolution with certain Netflix videos over the network, but the projector is doing a fine job. As far as the rainbow affect, I haven't seen anything and don't expect to. My setup is in a white room with several large windows.
Summary: I got this projector a month back and use this to play my ps3 games and HD movies, blue ray movies etc. Great projector. I had a little fight to install it as this does not have a horizontal and vertical control to move the picture. I did not want to ceiling mount it as I rent the home and do not want to create an issue to my home owner. But installed this on a 3 tier entertainment stand and it works good. Good price for a HD projector.
Summary: So far I have been using this projector for around 2 weeks and I have to say that I am in love with it. I have it about 14 feet from my wall and it projects about a 110 inch screen. The image looks amazing during movies and even better with video games. The only thing that I am going to have to adjust is the flesh colors. They come out a little pink but that could also be the screen I am using. I would highly recommend this product to anyone else.
Summary: I was decided to start my hometheater with a Full HD Projector that fix with my budget. The Vivitek H1080FD 1080P Home Theater Projector was the first one I selected after a study of some other brands below $1,000. The search included Optoma, Panasonic, Epson, Mitsubishi and ViewSonic.
Summary: For the price this thing can't be beat. I'm using it for video editing and it's awesome. Watch blueray on it as well and it's like being at the theater (with the 5.1 as well). There are times when it runs all day and I haven't has a single problem.
