The Vivitek D950HD is part of the company’s D9 Crossover Series and is a native 1080p data projector. It incorporates high brightness levels with optimized color reproduction and features built-in speaker, an array of connectivity options, including HDMA v1.3, and provides users with 1080p home entertainment system features. The projector also supports color reproduction through Vivitek’s VividWheel III technology, DLP® and BrilliantColor™ features from Texas Instruments and supports brightness and contrast levels needed ideal for business environments.

The Vivitek D950HD is a 1080p data projector that let users present and see 1080p content and supports 3000 Lumens brightness, 1080p (1920x1080) native resolution, 3000:1 (full on/off) contrast ratio, and the following input and output: two HDMI v1.3, VGA-In/Out, Composite Video, S-Video, Audio RCA L/R, Audio Mini-Jack, RJ45, RS-232c and a 12-Volt Trigger. The projector weighs 7.5lbs and has a lamp life of up to 5000/6000 on standard and eco mode respectively. The Vivitek D950HD retails for $1,499 (MSRP) and is available in August 2010.
