  • Pros: Super Bright

If you need to go big

Kyle, TigerDirect.com
4 October 2013
  • Summary: We were hosting a user conference and wanted to light up a pretty big screen so we picked this projector up. It arrived pretty much the next day and I set it up in our board room just to test before we left for the conference. I set it up where the current projector was and it not only filled the entire wall, but also most of the ceiling. I moved it closer, pretty much 2 feet from the wall. Unbelievably bright and perfect to project large images.

Great short-throw w/ bad rainbow effect

Gabriel - Communications Director, B&H Photo
30 January 2013
  • Excerpt: This projector has a fantastic short-throw. I'm using it for fundraising events in restaurants where there is not much room to use a traditional projector. It can project on the Da-Lite PICTURE KING 50x67 from about 3 feet away using the full screen. The colors and contrast are really good, and I'm very picky as a photographer and filmmaker by trade.
  • Pros: Easy To Set Up, Easy to use, Great picture quality, Small Footprint
  • Cons: Horrible Rainbow

The HDMI seems to be a better choice than the VGA connection if you can use ...

Robert J. Muller, Amazon
25 December 2012
  • Summary: Projects well, though it's really more appropriate for a large room and screen than a small conference room. The HDMI seems to be a better choice than the VGA connection if you can use it. Also this model doesn't zoom very well, more of a software zoom than hardware. The little rubber cable that links the lens cover to the lens came off almost immediately and couldn't be reattached by any means I was able to use, weird little fishhook arrangement.

that was nice. I just got it so I cannot talk ...

Ryan P Staley, Amazon
25 December 2012
  • Summary: Image is bright and the sharpest and most detailed I have seen. I did not have to tilt the projector to get image alignment, that was nice. I just got it so I cannot talk about reliability. Replacement bulbs cost $103 so be aware of that.
