Summary: Don't buy this if you want to present wirelessly. This is the absolute worst projector I've ever had to deal with. My company bought two of these to use in two different conference rooms. First of all, the "W" suffix at the end of the model name gives you the impression that it will connect wirelessly out of the box. Wrong. For an $800+ projector, you'd think this feature would come standard. You have to spend another $100 for a wireless dongle in order to do that.
Summary: This is a business projector made for use in bright rooms and it more than does the job. Even in a well-lit room, you get a strong image with bright colors and solid whites. You do lose a little bit of detail in the shadows and blacks, but that's a fair tradeoff for what you gain. There's an incredible number of connections, making it perfect for a conference room setup where you don't know what someone will need to hook into your system.
Beautiful image, Many usuage options, Impressive quality

Summary: This projector is pretty darn amazing. I've been using it consistently this past month for presentations at my center and it's rocked. SET UP The unit is light weight and easy to transport from place to place. We move it from room to room, depending on where it is needed. We do not have a ceiling mount which can be purchased separately. Instead, we have a mobile computer desk type unit that we put it on and project onto our wall.
Summary: I already own a few Viewsonic projectors. I currently have a 820 Pro attached to my ceiling (it is 1080p) and a Viewsonic 6381 Ultra Short Throw angle and 3D ready that I use when I want to play in 3D. This one is different than the two other ones: - It is 720p (kind of since it uses 800 instead of 720) and does not do 3D. - Its contrast is much better 15000:1 versus 3000:1 average for the others - 3500 Lumens ANSI versus 2000 for the 1080p and 3000 for the 6381.
Versatile projector, small enough for portable use, powerful enough for a theater room.

Summary: This ViewSonic has a lot going for it. It is lightweight and has a relatively small footprint. It could be used easily as a portable carry along for business or sales presentations. Its 3500 lumens is powerful enough to be seen easily in even a lighted room. I compared this projector to an Epson VS310 for the purposes of review. Here's how they stack up against each other: Brightness - both do great in dimmed rooms, but the ViewSonic has a small edge in lit rooms.
Summary: As a college professor and pastor, I've come to appreciate the value of a good projector. You might put together a great presentation with graphics and video. But if it can't be seen in a large, sunlit room, it becomes worthless. Worse than that - it becomes a distraction. If you are using visual aids, image quality is everything, so don't scrimp when buying a projector. I've used several projector brands over the years including Mitsubishi, Optoma, and ViewSonic.
Pros: Durable, Easy To Set Up, Good Focus, Lightweight, Powerful, Sharp Picture
Summary: For the product at the size, I am surprise it is very light. The brightness is also great even I use the projector in a room full of sunlight and room light. You can barely hear the noise too. Very impressive.
