  • Summary: This is my 3rd Viewsonic projector and my favorite model of the ones I have owned. I have also used and tested more than 100 projectors in the last few years just to give some background.
  • Pros: The picture is very sharp and clear and the throw distance is just about right in my opinion. This unit has excellent brightness and contrast and can be used in a mildy lit room. This model is extremely easy to operate and very simple to maintain. It is able to project 120hz 3d at 60 FPS on moder...
  • Cons: My only major complaint is the lack of an hdmi port however I purchased a very cheap $6 1080p adapter and it functions 100% including full 3d 60fps Ultra detail gaming with 0 lag playing 2015 titles. • Summary: Personal Experience This projector is perfect for anyone who wants an affordable classroom projector, or a decent machine for viewing home theater movies. The image produced is only as good as the source you run it through.

  • Summary: Clear up the first RMAed projector: The power supply had been making a faint 'whining' noise, I guess it just bit it. The new one is absolutely silent, runs like a top and is pretty amazing. The menu could be more clearly labeled.
  • Pros: Awesome brightness, contrast and tons of menu options to correct color on different surfaces such as green chalkboards or yellowish-white walls. Next to no difference in Eco Mode, just a tiny bit less bright. Easy set up, focus and height adjustments. Cools down fast (~10-15 seconds) after you tu...
  • Cons: Few inputs, but that's to be expected for a budget multimedia projector. Not really a con, but the picture is aimed high when sitting level on a table. You'd need to prop up the back to fill a whole wall or set it on the ground.
