Summary: We have used this projector inside and outside for hours at a time. It is very bright even when outdoors at sundown. We try to watch movies outside against the house or garage doors, works great for that.
Pros: Cheap projector, all your typical options like keystone, brightness, contrast, etc. Has a remote included that works well. It is 1024x768 and has two VGA inputs. I'm not sure what the other reviewer is talking about, but it might not be this product. I've used two different laptops and two differ...
Cons: First one shipped didn't work 100%. It would work fine for a few minutes to an hour and then the image would become very rainbow looking, and it would power down. However, the second one shipped is working great. The built-in speaker is not worth ViewSonice having built into it. Sounds like a blo...
caution: projector cannot display more than 640x480

Summary: For $100 and ~2000 lumens, it's acceptable for occasional TV use in a dark room. If you're looking to play dvd's or use it regularly, <waves hand> this isn't the projector you're looking for.
Pros: Good lighting for a dark bedroom projects on a matte light-grey wall fairly well
Cons: this has only composite and RGB inputs - WHICH MEANS IT CANNOT DISPLAY MORE THAN 640x480. Calling it a 1024x768 projector is not very accurate. It doesn't matter what the resolution of the imaging element is, if it won't accept those signals.
Summary: Power supply: As long as its plugged into a power source it sounds like its running, before and after being powered on/off There is a small buzzing and whine. Once powered down, the power LED blinks, indefenitly. Like a PC on sleep.
Pros: -Price referb was about the price of an On Sale 24" -Decent Lumes -Lan port -3D ready
Cons: -No HDMI or DVI -Have yet to find a VGA-HDMI that works to connect to receiver -Without VGA res is capped at 480i -I believe there's an issue with its power supply. (See other thoughts) I would comment on quiality of the color but that could be lack of current resolution...
Nice features, really good picture the PJD6221 meets my expectations.

Summary: Bought this used, no remote, no VGA cable, no power cable. The remote for my PJD 5121 projector works with this PJD6221 model and I already had a spare power and VGA cable. This projector gives a much better picture quality than my PJD5221 ViewSonic and it connects to the internet.
Summary: It really is a very good projector, with a excellent resolution and bright both day and night (much better at night), the problem is that once connected to the mains, the fan starts and remains so even when turned off, I know it's to cool the lamp but I think that it should turn off after a few...
Summary: The Projector have a nice view and works fine, but once you turn it off the power button goes on and off and you hear the fan turn on and off, I understand that this is supposed to be normal but only for a litter time, but the problem is the it never turns off it stay all night on and off, so I have...
