Summary: Personal Experience I had two PJD6211 and in both cases it started to appear a lot of white spots until it fill completely the screen. I seems this is a failure on the DMD chip. This Chips costs al least 180$. Firs fail at 800 hours and the second one (the warranty one) fails at 330 hours. Now is useless. I lost my money. Dont reccommend to buy this item. The projector has excellent image and good bright and sharpèn image, but fails the DLP.
Summary: ~~~~~~~~~~~~update 11/18/14 it is over the 60day warranty and my projector is having problems turning on, it clicks on to power up and then a safety of some sort turns the entire projector off. I have to unplug it multiple times and eventually it turns on without hiccups. Hopefully this problem does not get worse with time. BUYER BEWARE. The 60day warranty isn't very long.

Summary: Great picture. Projects really big and clearly even at a short distance. My biggest problem was it's compatability with any sort of DVD player. It doesn't have hdmi which my understanding was that it did and once I finally found a bluray 3d DVD player that connected with it, the 3d feature still didn't work
While i can't say anything bad about the projector itself the issues i have are 3d

Summary: The nvidia 3d vision doesn't work i have had 4 days with tech support on nvidia and viewsonic side now. Both blame each other for firmware or driver updates. The projector is 4 years old at this point you think they would have figured it out by now to plug and play. So i have been doing alot of trouble shooting and have not got it to work. I keep telling them my problems at viewsonic but they don't seem to listen.
Summary: after relizing my mistake of not having a hdmi port i opted for the pjd5134 which i believe is the next one up, this had everything i wanted, just not that, was told by a store that this is for mainly pc's only and if you want to use this on a 3d blu ray player, forget it
